Still singing at 41!

Still sharing the joy!

For forty-one years the Hilton Head Choral Society has been bringing beautiful music to the Lowcountry and our loyal audience members. Originally formed in 1975 to sing an annual performance of Handel’s Messiah, the HHCS has become an integral part of the community’s musical scene. In addition to our regular concert season you’ll often find us performing at the community Veterans Day and Memorial Day services, as well as providing musical opportunities in the schools and special programming at the Boys and Girls club. We believe in our commitment to “Share the Joy” and we try to do that with as wide a reach as possible.

The HHCS is proud to be the longest-running performing arts organization in our community and we gratefully acknowledge the support of our commercial and private patrons and sponsors in making this 41 year history possible.

The goal of the HHCS in each performance is to transport you to a place of musical beauty and escape, if only for a little while. Each concert has been crafted with a diverse audience in mind. There’s the familiar, the new, and perhaps something familiar performed in a way to perk up your ears and let you hear things in a unique and interesting way.

At each concert, from Pops to Christmas, Musical Masterworks to Patriotic, the HHCS guarantees you an evening’s entertainment you won’t want to miss. We’re pretty good at it – we’ve been doing it for 41 years!
