If anyone deserves a monthly spotlight, it’s Liz Henry, who has been part of the Hilton Head Choral Society for over 34 years. It’s hard to imagine, but that’s 34 years of Christmas, Pops, and Memorial Day concerts, rehearsals, and camaraderie!

We are honored to name Liz as our December Member Spotlight recipient. She is the kind of member whose energy and devotion has helped the HHCS thrive over the decades.

Liz, an alto, has been a dedicated member of the Choral Society since 1987.

Her passion for singing is just one significant contribution to the HHCS.  Leadership is another.   She served as Chairman of the Sixth Annual Christmas Tour of homes in 1990 and as Co-Chairman in 1995. From 1990-1993, Liz served as the Secretary on the Board of Directors for the HHCS. She served as a Director-at-Large from 2004 – 2006. For  several years, Liz created the concert program books. In 2005, she chaired the long range planning committee.

That’s a lot of work – but to Liz it’s always been a labor of love for a group that is so close to her heart.
